A smooth talking, self professed ladies man, Tashiro Yamu is the best friend, and classmate at Gunma High, of Izumi Kaivou. With lofty goals and ambitions for his own life, Yamu is always thinking of some clever (and some not so clever) ways to get what he wants in life, and at this time, that happens to mostly be a date with a certain girl, or any of the hundreds of girls who he thinks find him so desirable, really. When he is not making his rounds by the girls locker room, hoping to strike up a conversation with somebody, he is constantly on the prowl, trying to set up a date for himself, and always bringing Kaivou along for the ride.
